Data Storage

When enterprise users enable SIEM integration:

  • Data flows to your infrastructure, not to extension developers
  • Your organization controls this data completely
  • We never see, access, or store this enterprise data

Configuration Management

Enterprise deployments may:

  • Download configuration files from your organization's approved domains
  • Enforce organizational policies and settings
  • All configuration data remains within your organization's control

Built-in Privacy Filters (Enabled by Default)

The extension includes automatic filtering for sensitive data:

  • Email addresses, phone numbers, Social Security numbers
  • Credit card numbers (with Luhn algorithm validation)
  • API keys, JWT tokens, and authentication credentials

Permissions Explanation

The extension requires certain Chrome permissions for legitimate functionality:

  • debugger: Access Chrome DevTools Protocol for log capture
  • storage: Save settings and logs locally on your device
  • tabs: Coordinate logging across multiple browser tabs
  • activeTab: Monitor the currently active tab when enabled
  • downloads: Export log files for local analysis
  • alarms: Schedule automatic log cleanup and rotation

Third-Party Services

We do not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services. The only external connections are:

  • Enterprise SIEM systems (when explicitly configured by enterprise users)
  • Organizational configuration servers (when managed by enterprise IT)

These connections are controlled by your organization, not by us.

Data Retention

  • Local storage: Data retained until you clear it or uninstall
  • Enterprise SIEM: Retention controlled by your organization's policies
  • No developer retention: We never receive or retain any user data
