GDPR Compliance
GDPR Compliant
DevTraceShield respects your privacy rights under the General Data Protection Regulation
Our GDPR Principles
✅ No Personal Data Collection
DevTraceShield does not collect, store, or process any personal data. All debugging logs remain on your local device and are never transmitted to our servers (we don't have any).
✅ Data Minimization
We follow the principle of data minimization - the extension only captures debugging data you explicitly choose to log, and automatically redacts PII before storage.
✅ Privacy by Design
Privacy is built into every feature. Automatic PII redaction, local-only storage, and no telemetry ensure your data stays private by default.
✅ User Control
You have complete control over your data. Delete logs anytime, configure retention policies, and choose exactly what gets logged.
Your Rights Under GDPR
Even though we don't collect personal data, you still have rights:
- 📋 Right to Access: All your data is stored locally - you always have access
- ✏️ Right to Rectification: Edit or delete any logs directly in the extension
- 🗑️ Right to Erasure: Delete all logs with one click
- 📦 Right to Portability: Export your logs in standard formats (JSON, CSV)
- 🚫 Right to Object: Disable logging anytime with the master toggle
